    Responsibilities

    The role of Cloud Systems Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the software applications, cloud services, hardware installations, and networking systems used by SDLC Partners. SDLC Partners operates in a cloud-only infrastructure model and the successful candidate for this position will have extensive experience with the Microsoft Azure/Office 365 cloud environment. The Cloud Systems Engineer will participate in, and potentially lead parts of the implementation of ITIL standards across the IT department. This is a hands-on Systems Administration and Infrastructure Engineering position that requires detailed knowledge of the systems and software used by the business. Interaction with stakeholders and executive teams is required. 

    • Administer and maintain SDLC’s central Azure Active Directory systems
    • Maintain and administer SDLC’s IaaS and PaaS systems including:
      • Microsoft Office 365
      • Microsoft Azure
      • Workday
    • Participation in the design and deployment of SDLC’s IaaS systems
    • Development, testing, documentation, and execution of PowerShell and other relevant scripting languages
    • Monitor and troubleshoot technology issues that affect the usability or performance of the software applications, cloud services, and networking systems
    • Analyze systems and software and provide recommendations for changes or upgrades as necessary
    • Administer and maintain SDLC’s systems management systems including Intune and System Center Service Manager
    • Responsible to participate in the creation of systems and software documentation
    • Responsible to participate in end user and IT staff training for implemented systems
    • Manage the organization of company-owned IT assets across the organization

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Masters degree in computer science or related field is preferred
    • 3+ years Azure IaaS systems design, deployment, and administration 
    • 3+ years Microsoft Office 365 PaaS administration 
    • 5+ years Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems administration 
    • 3+ years Active Directory administration including Group Policies 
    • 2+ years Microsoft Intune 

    Additional Skills (Preferred)

    • 2+ years supporting Workday PaaS systems and integration points
    • Microsoft System Center Service Manager administration
