    As part of one of the region’s fastest growing consulting firms, you will be responsible for the analysis, solutioning, and estimating of new, robust business systems with one of our key clients. You will have experience in facilitation and consensus-building, exercise good judgement, and are able to integrate business and technical perspectives into the solutions. Key qualities will be thriving on using your imagination to develop solutions with vague requirements and direction, moving solutions and teams forward by putting a stake in the ground regarding scope, and adapting process discipline to handle ambiguity and vagueness.

    Responsibilities

    • Managing large complex projects with direct accountability to Executive Management
    • Leading client as well as consulting teams to deliver business and technology project objectives
    • Perform top-down risk assessments and develop internal control frameworks for TO-BE processes, including performing technical design (e.g., use cases, technical requirements, etc.) and executing application, integration, and user acceptance testing 
    • Contribute to development of best practice frameworks suitable for use in assessments and improvement planning and integration with assessment toolsets 
    • Influence senior management to champion process improvements, along with cost reduction strategies, and establish ownership of action plans at the appropriate point within the organization 
    • Establish on-going communication to share with key stakeholders issues & improvement recommendations throughout the life of the project 
    • Demonstrated success, in working with a multi-dimensional project team, consisting of people from across all parts of the organization, its departments and respective geographies 
    • Adhere to project management activities and deliverables to ensure project not only remains on schedule and on budget but meets value targets of client (where necessary) 
    • Strong executive presence 
    • Leverage technical/business acumen and client/industry knowledge to effectively solve problems and propose solutions 
    • Develop and execute training, mentoring and support materials to help others apply best practices and tolling in IT service delivery  

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems or other technical degree; MBA or equivalent work experience highly desirable 
    • Related industry experience (e.g., health plan / insurance); Big Four / Enterprise consulting experience highly desirable 
    • Knowledge of and hands on experience with leading process analysis and design techniques
    • Knowledge of and hands on experience with leading risk management techniques to analyze process material exposures (e.g., COSO Enterprise Risk Management, COSO Internal Controls, ISO/IEC 27000:2009, etc) 
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills o Strong ability to influence, negotiate and motivate
    • Desire for achievement and action o Puts the team first and supports other members without guidance
    • Proven analytical and root cause analysis capabilities o Proven leadership and management skills (e.g., conflict / resolution, personnel management, etc)
    • Strong Project Management skills

    Certifications - CSM highly desirable o PMI certification highly desirable 

     

    Travel up to 50% may be required.
